Helping individuals and families navigate change with clarity and steadiness.
FEES
I offer both private-pay services and in-network participation with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. This approach supports privacy, clinical independence, and individualized clinical decision-making while expanding access to high-quality psychological services.
I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for psychotherapy and many psychological assessment services. Coverage, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, prior authorization requirements, and covered services vary by plan. I am happy to verify your insurance benefits before your first appointment.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
For clients using out-of-network insurance benefits, I provide a detailed invoice (superbill) upon request that may be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many plans offer partial reimbursement for psychological services. I encourage you to contact your insurer directly to understand your specific benefits.
Psychotherapy
55-minute Session
Private Pay: $225
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas: In-network (your financial responsibility is determined by your individual plan benefits)
Therapy is a collaborative and structured process focused on understanding patterns, addressing current concerns, and supporting meaningful change over time.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating emotional concerns, relational challenges, executive functioning difficulties, and major life transitions. When clinically appropriate, parent consultation is incorporated to support progress outside of sessions.
Family therapy is available when concerns extend beyond the individual and involve patterns within the family system. These sessions focus on improving communication, clarifying roles and expectations, and addressing relational dynamics that may be maintaining distress. Family involvement is incorporated thoughtfully, with attention to each member's perspective and the overall functioning of the system.
Psychological Assessment
Psychological evaluations are structured based on the referral question and level of complexity. The goal is to arrive at a clear, grounded understanding of what is happening and provide recommendations that are practical and usable in real-world settings.
Each evaluation includes a structured clinical interview, standardized psychological testing as indicated, a written report, and a feedback session. The scope and depth of the evaluation vary depending on the referral question and presenting concerns.
Reports are designed to be clear, thorough, and useful for school, workplace, treatment planning, or other clinical purposes when appropriate.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas: Many psychological assessment services may be covered depending on your specific plan, referral question, medical necessity, and any applicable prior authorization requirements. I am happy to verify your benefits before scheduling.
Focused Diagnostic Evaluation
Private Pay: $1,500
Appropriate when a specific diagnostic question requires clarification (e.g., attention, mood, or anxiety-related concerns).
This option is focused and efficient, designed to provide clear diagnostic direction when concerns are more circumscribed.
Best suited for situations where diagnostic clarity is the primary goal. Depending on the context, this evaluation may not meet requirements for school-based accommodations.
Psychoeducational Evaluation
Private Pay: $2,500
Recommended when academic functioning and educational planning are central concerns.
This evaluation focuses on understanding how an individual learns, processes information, and performs academically, with recommendations tailored to support educational planning and informed decision-making.
Reports are designed to provide schools, families, and other professionals with clear, clinically grounded information that supports a comprehensive understanding of an individual's learning profile and educational needs. Final decisions regarding eligibility and educational services are made by the school or school district.
Comprehensive / Integrative Evaluation
Private Pay: $3,200
Indicated when concerns are complex, overlapping, or longstanding across settings.
This option provides a broader and more integrated understanding of functioning, including cognitive, academic (when indicated), emotional, and executive functioning factors contributing to current difficulties.
Often appropriate when multiple concerns are present or when previous attempts to understand the issue have not provided clear answers.
Flexible payment plans are available for private-pay assessments to support timely access to services.
For private-pay assessments, all fees must be paid in full prior to release of the written report.
